Our COVID-19 Response

The pandemic may stay with us for a long time, and we have taken steps to keep our e-biking events as safe and fun as we can. We e-bike only when health and enforcement authorities allow groups of 25 or more for outdoor events. We self-limit the number of participants to 20, including ride leads.

If more than five people are waitlisted for an event, we may organize a repeat event.

what we do

  • Follow COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.
  • Follow health and enforcement authorities' directions.
  • Keep at least an e-bike distance.
  • Avoid crowded biking trails.
  • "Break up" participants in small groups (3-4 bikers).
  • Suspend all indoor activities including luncheons during rides.
  • Wear masks.
  • Produce trail descriptions on the website so everyone can participate while keeping a distance from bike leaders and other participants. Itineraries and GPS files can be downloaded from this website.
  • Suspend taking group photos.

do's

  • Do not come to our events if you feel sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
  • Please wash hands and wipe your bike's handlebars before an event.
  • Let us know if you forgot to bring a mask, so the bike lead can give you one.
  • Take the responsibility of protecting your health and that of other bikers by following our guidelines.
  •  Do not participate in our events if you cannot follow our guidelines for whatever reason. Please, no excuses.
