As we welcome 2025, we want to take a moment to celebrate an incredible milestone—five years of E-Bike Lovers! What started with just two participants in December 2019 has grown into the largest and most inclusive e-biking community in the United States, with over 1,350 e-bike lovers.
Since that first ride in 2019, we’ve organized 288 events, received 1,100+ five-star reviews, raised more than $200,000 for charity, and, most memorably, donated e-bikes with industry partners to the Travis Mills Foundation.
Ten e-bikes were donated to the Travis Mills Foundation.

We’re also proud of our ongoing partnership with DC Bike Ride, which remains a highlight for showcasing the strength and diversity of our e-bike community.

Our Growing Repository of Curated E-biking Routes
This past year was one of growth and exploration. We tested many new and existing trails and refined the turn-by-turn navigation of 38 routes. We hope to improve the turn-by-turn guidance of 20 more rides in 2025.

Documentary and Guidebook
We took bold steps toward publishing the Ultimate E-Bike Lovers Guidebook. Once finalized, this printed guide will feature our top e-bike rides and will be available on Amazon. We’ve also continued work on our e-bike documentary, which began filming in 2021.
While we can’t yet promise release dates for either, rest assured that we’re working hard to make them both worth the wait.
Looking Ahead
Looking ahead, 2025 promises even more e-bike adventures. Expect new routes, Wednesday rides, and, by popular demand, new monthly night rides in Rock Creek Park in the summer on Beach Drive, away from motorized traffic.
